Camera, microphone and Voice Sync
Notchalant asks for camera and microphone access when you start recording. Voice Sync also needs microphone and speech recognition access. If you previously declined, open System Settings on Mac or Settings on iPhone, find Notchalant under Privacy & Security, and enable the permission you want to use.
Voice Sync uses on-device speech recognition when a local model is available. When it is unavailable for the selected language, fixed-pace prompting remains available.
Recordings
On Mac, your takes appear in Notchalant's recording library, where you can trim, crop and export them. On iPhone, a finished take is saved to Photos after you confirm the save. Make sure Photos access is enabled if a take does not appear in your library.
Notchalant Pro
One Notchalant Pro subscription unlocks the supported Pro features on Mac and iPhone when both devices use the same Apple ID. Use Restore Purchases in the app if access does not appear automatically.
Apple manages billing, renewal, cancellation and refunds. You can manage the subscription in your Apple Account subscription settings or visit Apple Billing Support.
